Documentation

Everything you need to know about Orchestria — from first steps to advanced agent orchestration.

Getting Started

Orchestria lets you create music through natural language. Describe what you want — a moody lo-fi beat, an energetic pop chorus, a cinematic string arrangement — and our AI agents collaborate in real time to bring it to life.

1

Join the Waitlist

Sign up to get early access. You'll receive an invite with your API key and workspace credentials.

2

Describe Your Music

Use the command bar or API to give instructions in plain English. For example: "Create a chill hip-hop beat at 85 BPM with jazzy chords."

3

Iterate & Export

Review the output, request changes, and export stems or a final mix in WAV, MP3, or MIDI format.

Core Concepts

Orchestria is built around a few key ideas:

  • AgentsSpecialized AI models, each focused on a specific aspect of music production (drums, melody, mixing, critique).
  • SessionsA workspace where agents collaborate on a single track or project. Sessions persist and can be revisited.
  • StemsIndividual audio layers (drums, bass, melody, etc.) that can be independently edited and exported.
  • CommandsNatural-language instructions that direct agents. Commands can target specific agents or be broadcast to all.
  • VersionsEvery change creates a new version, so you can always roll back or compare iterations.

Agent Overview

Each agent is a specialist. Together, they form your personal AI studio band.

Drummer Agent

Creates and modifies drum patterns, grooves, and percussive elements. Understands time signatures, swing, and genre-specific rhythms.

Melodist Agent

Composes melodies, chord progressions, and harmonic structures. Supports scales, modes, and adaptive voicings.

Critic Agent

Evaluates compositions for balance, coherence, and musicality. Provides actionable feedback and improvement suggestions.

Mix Engineer Agent

Handles levels, panning, EQ, compression, and spatial effects. Produces polished, release-ready mixes.

Example Workflow

Here's a quick example of how a typical session might look:

Session
> Create a moody lo-fi beat at 75 BPM

[Drummer] Laying down a dusty boom-bap groove...
[Melodist] Adding warm Rhodes chords in Dm7...
[Critic] Sounds cohesive — suggesting vinyl crackle.
[Mix Engineer] Applying tape saturation & low-pass.

✓ Version 1 ready — 4 stems exported.

> Make the drums more swung and add a bass line

[Drummer] Increasing swing to 62%...
[Melodist] Walking bass line in D minor added.
[Critic] Better groove. Bass sits well.
[Mix Engineer] Side-chain compression applied.

✓ Version 2 ready — 5 stems exported.
